For the first time, Signal de Bougy is turning into an open-air cinema!
Enjoy three evenings of screenings with three films on the bill: L’amour du monde by Jenna Hasse (CH), Sauvages by Claude Barras (CH) and Un p’tit truc en plus by Artus.
A meeting with director Jenna Hasse is planned to learn more about her film “L’amour du monde”. You will also have the opportunity to meet Léa Favre, presenter and production assistant of the film “Sauvages”.
Detailed programme:
Wednesday, August 5 at 8:30pm: L’amour du monde
On the shores of Lake Geneva, gentle 14-year-old Margaux meets Juliette, a rebellious 7-year-old placed in a care home, and Joël, a fisherman recently returned from Indonesia following his mother’s death. Three lonely and somewhat lost souls who, in the humid heat along the lakeside, support one another over the course of a summer. An idyllic fishing harbour becomes their refuge, with nature as their ally, until another reality comes to disrupt their bond.
Thursday, August 6, 8:30 p.m.: Sauvages
In Borneo, near the rainforest, Kéria takes in a baby orangutan from the plantation where her father works. At the same time, her cousin Selaï seeks refuge with them to escape the conflict between his nomadic family and logging companies. Together, Kéria, Selaï and the young monkey, named Oshi, face many challenges as they fight against deforestation.
Friday, August 7 at 9pm: Un p’tit truc en plus
To escape the police, a father and son on the run are forced to take refuge in a holiday camp for young adults with disabilities, posing as a resident and his support worker. The beginning of a series of mishaps and a powerful human experience that will change them forever.
